Childhood
The daughter of a father of immense wealth and shady political reputation who was old enough to be her great-grandfather, and his much younger second wife, Huguette Clark was born in 1906 in Paris, where her mother Anna had been studying the harp. She moved to New York at age 4 with her parents and her older sister.
