907 Fifth Avenue: Interior
Huguette Clark’s apartments took up the entire eighth floor of the building and half the twelfth, or top, floor, for a total of forty-two rooms and fifteen thousand square feet on Fifth Avenue, the most fashionable street in the most expensive city in America. She was last there in 1991 when she moved to a hospital. She stayed in a simple hospital room, first in Doctors Hospital and then in Beth Israel Medical Center, until she died in 2011.
